WALA fossils and dinosaurs

Today we were very fortunate to have Dr Joe Mckee who is a Paleontologist come and talk to us about fossils and dinosaurs. He showed us some slides and bought in some samples of fossils embedded in rocks. He told us that fossils are found in sedimentary rocks and that you have to use special tools to cut open the rocks so that you dont damage the fossil.
