We have been writing about what we think a bird is. Here is Nicole's story;

A Bird has feathers like a kiwi. Kiwis have wings but they can’t fly. Kiwis can lay eggs six times bigger than a hen’s eggs. Kiwis eat bugs, grubs, worms and other things from the ground. There are lots of different kinds of birds like;
Tuis, Blackbirds, Kiwis, Sparrows, Magpies, Silvereye, Pukeko, Hawk, Kea, Budgie, Parrot, Eagles and Seagulls.
