Our homework assignment was to choose our favourite book and then prepare a presentation about that book to an audience. We had to talk about what we liked about the book, any 'wonderings' we had about the story and to evaluate the story. Our peers then assessed how well we spoke clearly , maintained eye contact and enthused us to want to read the book too. We really enjoyed sharing our books with each other.

We have been reading to an audience and using peer assessment.
Our homework assignment was to choose our favourite book and then prepare a presentation about that book to an audience. We had to talk about what we liked about the book, any 'wonderings' we had about the story and to evaluate the story. Our peers then assessed how well we spoke clearly , maintained eye contact and enthused us to want to read the book too. We really enjoyed sharing our books with each other.
