Visit to Te Manawa
piZap.com free online photo editor We started our Term 2 Inquiry Big Question called "What do fossils tell us about the past?" by going to Te Manawa. We had a fantastic morning learning about how fossils are made, where to find them and what clues they can tell us about dinosaurs. We practised digging up fossils, piecing dinosaur bones back together and making rubbings from fossil imprints. We had lots of wonderful parents come and help us with supervision and we were really lucky to have beautiful sunshine for our digging outside.
