Man vs Wild
Yesterday we watched Bear Grylls “Man vs Wild”. Bear Grylls was dropped by a helicopter into the middle of the Pacific Ocean. He swam using both breaststroke and sidestroke to the nearest piece of land and to keep his head out of the water. Finally he got to the nearest island but he couldn’t get onto the front of the island because the waves were swishing and splashing all over. He had to climb up an enormous pile of rocks Bear Grylls climbed down some enormous tree roots to get down. When he got to the top he looked down. Thankfully he saw the island beach and the next thing was to get down. When he got down, he used his pocket knife to cut some bamboo. He got the bamboo and went to the island and now he made a shelter and first on was dry coconut palms, then the fresh green ones. After that he made a signal fire in case there were any passing helicopters or ships.

Michelle has been thinking about using some adjectives in her writing to make it sound interesting. We liked the part ' enormous tree roots' and the waves were 'swishing and splashing'. Tino Pai Michelle!
